Contextual and sticker ads are, at times, a pain in the ass

Visual journalist and blogger Charles Apple posts examples of what can go wrong with contextual advertising online. This form of advertising tends to go awry especially on stories of tragedy or serious news topics.

But, as Apple notes, it’s not an issue totally for digital … print can have its own awkward juxtapositions, like the above sticker ad fail from the Times-Telegraph of Texas.
